Graysen

A couple weeks ago, I had the privilege of capturing this little guy's first birthday. And now that I think of it, I don't think I have posted any pics on the blog from that day. Hmmm....sorry about that. If I get a chance I will post them, otherwise there is some on my Facebook page. ANYWAY, Graysen couldn't be cuter. He was such a great sport and so cooperative too! That is normally hard for 1 year olds. They don't have time for pictures, they just want to explore, and I don't blame them one bit!

Ava and Family

I had the extreme pleasure of photographing this beautiful family. This is not the first time I have taken pictures of Ava, you can see her here and here. Ahhh...I can't believe she is so big now. You can surely see the change in my photography as well from those past pictures.
We managed though the SNOW that fell at times during the photo session. Yes, snow. It was yesterday, May 1st! That is what we get for living in Minnesota I guess. Such a great family. And hopefully not too far in the future they will be adding another member to their family through adoption. The family pictures that I took for them will be used for a part of the adoption process. I wish them the absolute best! They are such great parents to Ava and I am excited to meet this new little one!

Fun at their house!

These 2 little sweeties were so much fun. This family invited me into their beautiful home to take pictures for them. I had lots of fun playing with Ivan and snuggling up to the sweet new baby sister.

The Gingers

I had so much fun with these guys! Lauren was down for anything and the boys were great sports. When Lauren texted me the night before about where we were going to meet and stuff she said they would be "the 3 gingers." I thought about it, and call me what you will, but I had no idea what that meant. I asked Caleb and he said they are probably all red heads. Well that made sense, and that is exactly what they are. Beautiful red headed siblings. Both of these guys are in the Army. Nick, the guy in the black shirt is actually on a little vacation (I am not sure what the correct term is for that) from currently being stationed in Afghanistan. He goes back next week I believe. Andrew has also been in the army and when I took these pictures it was the first time all 3 gingers have been together in 5 years! What a wonderful idea to get some fabulous pictures done. They had fun doing this and you can tell were just happy to be around each other. How lucky am I to capture it! I love my job!

Danner and Dalton

Starting to get back into the groove of things now that the weather is starting to get warmer. Out of my winter funk and into the fresh air! I am so excited to start doing more outdoor photo sessions. This was my first one since the weather has been nice. Danner and Dalton! I love these boys. They are no stranger to my camera, I have had the pleasure of taking their pictures a few times now. Although, the last time I saw Dalton he was just a tiny little newborn. That is one of my many favorite things about being a photographer. I get to see all of these beautiful little kids grow! It's so much fun!

I had lots of fun with all of these boys. The teeny tiny peanut was such a good little sleeper, as he should be since he was 2 weeks old and still not due to be born yet. His mama had him 3 weeks early. It's always so amazing to me in situations like that. To be able to see the baby when he could still be in mama's belly!
